We are about to turn the page on a new year, but let’s not walk into this year carrying last year’s mindset. Let me make three suggestions as we begin.

#1 Forget what’s behind us. Philippians 3:13

We should learn from the past but not dwell on it. By dwelling on what was, we minimize and even forsake what can be!

#2 Look forward. Luke 9:62

The future God has prepared for us is meant to prosper us, not harm us. Therefore, we must focus on what’s before us or may likely repeat what’s behind us.

#3 Recommit to the Great Commission. Matthew 28:19

God’s purposes have not changed. He wishes that none should perish but that all come to repentance. We are His ambassadors, and it’s our job to share the good news with people.

Together, let’s accomplish the will of God in 2022 as we await His return!
